FAQ

Commonly asked.

How do I get plugged in at Hope?
The fastest path to belonging is through a Hope Group. After attending a Sunday or two, fill out the connect card in the foyer or visit our groups page to find a group near you. You'll go from visitor to family in a matter of weeks.
Is there a newcomers class or membership process?
Yes — we hold a "Hope Discovery" class quarterly (four Sundays after service) covering our beliefs, history, how we do community, and what membership at Hope looks like. It's low-pressure and a great way to ask questions. Contact us to register for the next one.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely. We have over 40 active volunteer teams: HopeKids, worship, sound/AV, parking, greeting, prayer, outreach, setup/teardown, and more. Fill out the contact form with subject "General" and mention volunteering — we'll connect you with the right team leader.
I'm going through something hard. Can I talk to a pastor?
Yes. Pastor Matt and Pastor Wes are available for personal conversations, prayer, and ongoing support. Email [email protected] or use the contact form with subject "Pastoral Care". For immediate crisis support, call (512) 377-3900 during office hours.
Do you have resources for people in financial need?
Yes. We maintain a Benevolence Fund for members and neighbors in genuine need. All requests are handled confidentially by our pastoral care team. Contact [email protected]. We also partner with several Austin nonprofits for food, housing, and crisis support.
